Theories on the Power of the "D" Clan

Are the Holy Knights Stronger Than the Admirals?

So far, only two of the Holy Knights—Gunko and Shamrock—have revealed themselves. However, there is a strong possibility that the Holy Knights are even superior to the Admirals.

The Role of the Holy Knights vs. the Admirals

The Holy Knights are directly deployed by the World Government to suppress rebellious kingdoms, which suggests they are elite enforcers of absolute authority. In contrast, the Marines require entire fleets just to take control of a single island or region. The Admirals, despite being the highest-ranking officers in the Marines, often operate alongside Vice Admirals, Pacifista units, or full naval forces to maintain order.

Meanwhile, the Holy Knights function as a unit of only nine individuals, yet they are entrusted with handling large-scale conflicts. This implies that their combat strength is extraordinary—potentially surpassing that of the Admirals.

Gunko & Shamrock: A Glimpse of Their Strength

Although little is known about the abilities of the Holy Knights, their sheer presence commands fear across the world. Gunko, with his armored warrior-like appearance, exudes a sense of brute force and resilience, while Shamrock’s menacing look hints at a battle-hardened fighter. If they are anything like the Admirals, they may possess powerful Devil Fruit abilities or advanced Haki.

Considering that the Holy Knights are tasked with crushing revolutions and rebellious movements, they may have faced and defeated numerous strong individuals across different kingdoms. If they were weaker than the Admirals, why would the World Government entrust them with such critical operations instead of sending Marine forces?

Comparing Strength: Holy Knights vs. Admirals

  • Strategic Deployment: The Holy Knights act independently, while the Admirals typically require fleets and backup.
  • Mission Importance: The Holy Knights are assigned to handle internal threats to the World Government, implying they are the "last line of defense" against rebellion.
  • Combat Prowess: Given their ability to operate in small numbers against large-scale opposition, they must possess immense strength—potentially beyond that of an Admiral.

The Final Saga & the Holy Knights' True Power

If the Holy Knights are stronger than the Admirals, this could change the power dynamics in the One Piece world. The Revolutionary Army, which has already struggled against the Marines, might find itself facing an even deadlier force. Moreover, if Luffy and his allies challenge the World Government directly, the Holy Knights could serve as their greatest obstacle before reaching Imu and the Gorosei.

Could the Holy Knights possess abilities rivaling the Gorosei? Are they infused with Celestial Dragon technology? Or are they simply the strongest warriors ever trained by the World Government?

One thing is certain—when the Holy Knights finally step onto the battlefield, the balance of power in the One Piece world will never be the same.
